About Shannon

Shannon worked at Advanced Therapeutic Massage in Kelowna, BC, from 2011 to 2013

Shannon graduated from Revelstoke High School and attended Blanche Macdonald and John Casablancas Career colleges to work as a licensed Aesthetician/Makeup Artist in Vancouver. Shannon trained at the Justice Institute in Vancouver and worked as a Loss Prevention Office for over 12 years in Prince George. Once Shannon and her family moved to Kelowna in 2001, she decided to go into health care and trained at Summit Career College and OUC and worked as a Care Aid, Rehabilitation Assistant and Patient Porter for Similkameen and Central Okanagan Interior Health Authority.

Shannon received her certificates in Aromatherapy and Reflexology at the Canadian Institute of Natural Health and Healing in Kelowna in 2006. She graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon in January of 2011 and has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since. Shannon feels the best thing she ever did for herself was taking the RMT course so she can connect with people to assist in improving their quality of life. She believes everyone is a work in progress no matter what stage of life you are in and that setting and achieving goals is important.

Shannon also worked at Glenmore Chiropractic from 2013 to 2014 covering a maternity leave.
